Agoo Australia is an Australian company, owned by Social Entrepreneur, Alison Covington, and assisted by another, Susan Wallis that sells Canadian designed kids clothes and accessories.

But not just any clothing and accessories …… our products are aimed at increasing kids activity levels, sun protection, and with an eco friendly angle thrown in. We don't just want to sell stuff, we want to affect change. Truly.

The Product – Agoo Activewear

Agoo sells kids activewear for kids aged from newborn to 8 years of age. What makes our clothing special is that it is made from sports performance fabric, is stain resistant and is most importantly rated UPF 50+. So it’s comfy, it stretches, breathes, mess cleans off easy, and it keeps kids sun protected whilst they stay cool.

This means kids can wear long sleeves on a hot day and they stay safe and dry,

Our 4 kids love wearing it, and so do hundreds of others!

Our collection includes: long sleeve onezies and pants for babies. No need to worry about sunscreen for the babies as our long sleeves and pants will keep them protected from the sun and our fabric will keep them cool as well …… no sweaty monsters when wearing Agoo.

Shorts, squarts (skirts with built in shorts), tee’s, long sleeve tees, jackets, pants and capri’s for the big kids. Lots of great colours to mix and match and ever so comfortable you will wish they came in your size …… we do! Maybe we will have to do something about that?

We have also found that because our fabric draws the moisture away from the skin it is helpful in the treatment of Ezcema, children with sensitive skin find this fabric very comforting and our tagless labels are extremely popular with kids as well.

The Concept – Agoo Direct

Stain resistance and sun protection makes this clothing perfect for kindergarten,pre-school and childcare.  Did you realise sunscreen is not recommended for babies under 12 months of age? Kids at school wear uniforms, and parents love the convenience of this, well we sure do. Why don’t kids at childcare and pre-school wear uniforms? Sun protective and stain resistant ones? Wouldn’t that be great to protect their precious skin from the harmful sunrays whilst playing during the day.

Agoo Direct aims to cut out the middle man, allowing groups of people to access the best possible prices on our gear due to bulk discounts.

Ideally, these ‘groups’ are childcare centres, pre-schools, mothers groups and playgroups, but it is also open to sporting teams as well as your average person who wants to harness the power of group buying.

The key is that we give you the option of the the price you charge your group members, allowing you to fundraise at the same time. For example you might choose to offer the shirts at $20 instead of $18, collecting $2 per item OR pass on all the savings directly to your members to support your sun smart policies.

We think chocolate fundraisers don’t necessarily send the right message, when most child care environments have restrictions on what kids can bring in their lunch boxes, and it is usually the families and staff who buy all the chocolate!

Oh, and we have a referral program too. We’d love customers of Agoo to be instrumental in encouraging their childcare centres and pre-schools to be more sun smart for their kids, so anyone who makes a referral that turns into a group order, will receive a reward too.

How do you get involved?

It is as easy as 1,2,3 ……

1. Contact us and we will send you the information kit and brochures (see sample)
2. Distribute the brochures, order forms to your group and collect by the date you nominate and return to Agoo (all the instruction information will be in the kit)
3. Agoo will send all the orders and process all the payments taking all the hard work out of your hands.

Isn’t that easy? Your group now has fabulous sun safe clothing at group rates and you might have even raised some money along the way as well as keeping this generation of kids Sun Safe as well.

Looking for an easy, healthy alternative to chocolate fundraisers?

Would you like to increase sun protection and make dressing kids for child care even easier?

You know all the great things about Agoo right? Agoo Activewear is cool, funky and comfortable clothing that kids love to wear. Stain resistant, UV rated, hard wearing and long lasting, so parents love it too! Perfect for child care, kindergartens  and pre-school as the sunscreen never washes off but the paint and grime does!

UV Protection..........not just at the beach. Many Australian parents are now familiar with protecting their child whilst at the beach or swimming from the harmful effect of the harsh Australian sun. We ask why do we not apply the same protection during the day when playing outside........................ look up it is the same sun. Our high tech fabrics will provide your child with UV50+ sun protection but also keep them cool, clothes that keep up with your active child.

How does it work?

1. Agoo provides brochures and an electronic order form giving you to option to set the price per item before you print and distribute. E.g. Agoo charges $18 per shirt; if you want to make $3 per shirt you charge $21. The choice is yours.

2. 2-3 weeks later, at your convenience, we collect the order forms and take care of all payments and money collection easing the burden on your staff.
3. 7-10 days later the clothing is delivered to your centre in individual orders, ready to be distributed so that you don’t have to sort or count.
4. We take care of all money collection, sorting, returns and refunds directly.
5. We credit you the difference between the cost of the clothing and the price you have charged.  If you want to make the clothing as affordable as possible to support your sun protection goals you may choose to charge the minimum price.

We are heavily discounting our recommended retail prices and offering you wholesale group rates so that every child will have the opportunity to dress sun smart. You may even like to consider how you could subsidies purchasing our clothing some schools even do fundraising so that every family has the opportunity to dress their children in our innovative sun smart clothing.

Some forward thinking and innovative schools are even considering adding as little as 50c to the daily fee to cover the cost of providing Agoo as sun smart uniform FREE to every child.

These are the things I love about the rain jacket:

• • it is 'neat' looking in that it isn't fluffy, etc and the fabric is a lovely matt black (not shiny) and it is SOOO warm
• • the little thumb holes work almost like fingerless gloves.  They keep the sleeves down and little palms warm too
